17.3 Selecting a storage location for the database
In the Database directory group field, you can choose another directory if the
database is to be stored somewhere other than in the SISTORE MX main
directory.

Prerequisites:
z The SISTORE MX NVS application software has been started.
See Section "

z The SISTORE MX NVS application software is in configuration mode. See
448HSection "1395HOpening configuration mode", page 1396H18.
1. Select the Database tab.
2. Mark the checkbox Database directory.
Î The SISTORE MX dialog opens.

3. Click OK.
4. Click the Open button
.
Î The Select directory dialog will open.
5. Select the desired directory.
6. Click Select.
Î The Select directory dialog will close.
7. Click OK.
Î The SISTORE MX configuration window will close.
Î You will be in display mode.
8. Answer Yes in the confirmation dialog.
Î The SISTORE MX NVS application software will close.
NOTE:
If you wait longer than 10 seconds, the SISTORE MX NVS application software will close
automatically.
9. Start the SISTORE MX NVS application software.
