Use "two-stage routing" for all drives not linked directly to PROFIBUS but connected via

gateway.

Example: Universal fieldbus interface UFP11A; PROFIBUS address 9 (→ following fig-

ure)

• Select the "Routing" field and enter "9" in the "Gateway-Address" field.

• Open the MOVITOOLS

Manager once again. Click on "Update" to display the cur-

rent address information of the lower-level bus system (→ following figure).

Manager is set to "None." Select any PC COM port (e.g. COM1) for the

MPI so that MOVITOOLS

will be available online.
